The Four Building Blocks of
The Phillip Wilson Civic Association
Education
We are here to support and advocate for Parental Involvement in the say so of the academic and fiscal policies that govern the lives of families and their scholars. Whether it be parental choice, student services, anti-bullying and or discrimination, the PWCA is here to assist families in holding education policy makers accountable for the constituents we serve.
Entrepreneurship
We believe in free market enterprise, equity of opportunities, and equity of support to help businesses, large and small, prosper and grow. We believe all businesses lawfully established, big or small, should be provided with the proper support and oversight to grow and properly support all communities they serve.
Mentoring & Leadership Development
We believe in developing and grooming the leaders of the future. We at PWCA have developed a comprehensive mentoring and leadership program, through workshops and speaker series, that are geared towards providing participants with the necessary information, foundational support, and resources to grow in said areas and become self-advocates for their growth and potential.
Social Justice
We at PWCA believe in equity, access, participation and rights for all. PWCA has a vision for a society that is mutually shaped to meet your needs, including distribution of resources equitable for the community, fairness in healthcare, employment, housing and more. PWCA will work to restore and rebuild trust and relationships within communities.
